So I venture out into the myspace world here and there to see the kinda music being put out and to get feedback on my own stuff and I notice alot of Ignorance ... So many ways I can take this but lets go with the subject of REAL HIP HOP ... What is it really ?? 16 year olds hear a Nas album and he's talkin about hip hop is dead and 'oh oh he's one of the best to ever do it so thats what I wanna do'... So impressionable the youth of today who cant name 5 Rakim songs but preach this real hip hop stuff ... One of the best rap albums ever made was Reasonable Doubt by Jay-Z ... Real Hip Hop right so do we give the song 'Aint No Nigga' a pass?? How about Biggie and 'Mo Money Mo Problems'?? And I guess we wanna dismiss Nas making that 'You Owe Me' song with Ginuwine?? Now I'd rather not have the world slip into complete dance mode cause anyone can make that type of music but honestly we need that hot club banger every now and then otherwise what are you gonna do pop bottles and party in VIP to Mos Defs 'Umi Says'?? No disrespect but some of yall just dont understand the hip hop movement as a whole ... Good Music Is Good Music simple as that!! I understand everyones got styles they prefer but real respect real and the realest are the most versatile so I suggest everybody venture out and expand so you can reap the benefits like ahem Y-$ LOL...
